While we lost our choir director, the choir as a community is still strong. We have had a half-dozen picnics, a retreat at the Chateau, and several birthday parties. And choir season hasn’t even begun yet. Everywhere we go, someone inevitably breaks out into song. It’s fun to be a part of a community where it’s not taboo to spontaneously start singing amazing grace in the middle of the street. (And even if most of them aren’t Christians they join in enthusiastically to complete the four part chorus! It’s an amazing group of people.)
The first official choir meeting of the 2008-2009 season will be on the 6th of October. Until then here are some photos of a recent gathering.
