We got together for our first Celebration Service of the school year. We invited people from all three home groups to join us in our home for a time of meditation and a sermon. We don’t know any songs by heart and our volunteer worship leader has been too busy to come. So we listened to a French worship CD in silent reverence and made it a prayer to begin our time together.
Rainer Ehmann, a German pastor, was our guest preacher this week. He came down with his wife for the weekend and shared his sermon was on “How to Accept Jesus as your Personal Saviour.” Everyone was very attentive. Young adults hung around until midnight asking questions about faith and “What happens to you when you accept Christ.”
