The Plasters head out on a stroll along the Saint James pilgrimage trail in Paris.
The trail begins at the Saint James Tower Le Tour Saint-Jacques Here we are with Doug and Jacquie checking out the beautiful tower.
The trail passes right in front of the Notre Dame Cathedral. Look they still had their Christmas tree up in January, it’s pretty.
The path is marked with sea-shells and yellow arrows to help pilgrims find their way.
The Rue Saint Jacques started as a beaten path to Spain, and it is known as the oldest street in Paris. Now of course it is paved and full of city traffic, but it is only one way! Onward to Spain!
It’s getting late, the rest of the pilgrimage will have to wait until this summer …
